Thekkady –located in Thekkady is the Periyar wild life Sanctuary that you can visit when you go for boating at Thekkady. Wild animals, forest areas of Periyar sanctuary and Mullapperiyar dam from close view can be seen during this boating. Thekkady is the best place to visit if you are interested in adventure and eco-tourism activities.

Athirampilly-Vazhachal – Athirampilly is the biggest water fall in Kerala. Athirampilly is a picturesque combination of forest and spectacular waterfall.

Monsoon – June to September
This season sees lot of torrential rainfall. According to Ayurvedic teachings, monsoon season is most suitable for the Ayurvedic treatment. The reason being that during monsoon, the human body tents to be more receptive to all Ayurvedic treatments and medicines, thus increasing the effectiveness of the therapy. Northeast monsoon – October – November
Commonly known as winter monsoon, blows from land to sea by crossing from Bay of Bengal into the Arabian Sea and Indian ocean. During this season the land is colder than the sea with moderate temperature with little or no rainfall. Temperature hovering between 200-300.
